Charitable Programs

Foster Kids:

Sleep Train is joining forces with specific and targeted non-profit organizations who support foster youth in the markets where we do business to help California’s foster children. With your help, we can provide foster kids with the little things that can make a BIG difference. Things like school supplies, new shoes, a holiday present, or even something as basic as warm clothes.

Sleep Train Charity Golf Classic:

Over $700,000 has been raised since the inception of the Sleep Train Charity Golf Classic in 2007. The event, which has sold out each year, is hosted at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, California. Major sponsors include Simmons Bedding Company, Sealy Mattress Company, Tempur-Pedic®, Leggett & Platt, Latex International, and Serta Mattress Company.

Employee Volunteer Program:

Sleep Train employees are committed to supporting the company's efforts to make a difference in its communities.  Each year, our employees are encouraged to volunteer for and participate in fundraising events sponsored by local charities.  If your organization has volunteer opportunities available, please contact us at: communityrelations@sleeptrain.com.

Junior Achievement:

Through a growing number of volunteers, educators, parents, and contributors, Junior Achievement reaches approximately 6.6 million students worldwide.  Utilizing age-appropriate curricula, Junior Achievement programs begin at the elementary school level, teaching children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers.  Sleep Train has been a proud supporter of Junior Achievement of Sacramento for over a decade through fundraising events like Crazy Bowl, Hall of Fame, and their annual golf tournament.  For more information please visit www.jasac.org.

Boys & Girls Club:

For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America have provided youth ages six to eighteen a safe and fun place to learn and grow, while benefiting from the guidance of a professional youth development staff.  With over 4,000 club locations, Boys & Girls Clubs reach out to kids who cannot afford, or may lack access to, other community programs. These programs would not be possible without the support of companies like Sleep Train, who give back in their local communities.  For more information please visit www.bgca.org.
