What’s happening to Sleep Train?
Starting in February, Sleep Train stores are being re-named to Mattress Firm. Customers will see store signs change from Sleep Train to Mattress Firm through March. You’ll continue to experience the same great people, service and guarantees — just under a new name. Sleep Train and Mattress Firm merged in 2014 and have been working in collaboration for the past two years. They will now share the same brand name.
Is Sleep Train going away?
No, we are just being re-named! Your favorite store will remain and you’ll continue to experience the same great people, service and guarantees — just under a new name, Mattress Firm.
When is this happening?
Signs will change starting in February. We anticipate all store signs to be changed to Mattress Firm by April.
I just purchased a new mattress. Who will be delivering it?
Your products will be delivered by the same team, company and truck and they will still remove your old mattress.
Will my store still be open?
Yes, all stores will remain open and business will not be affected by the name change.
Will my sales person still be available if I have questions?
Yes, your sales person will still be available. Current employees will be unaffected by the name change.
What about the purchase guarantees/warranties I was provided with my purchase?
All customer guarantees and warranties will be the same and will be honored. You’ll experience the exact same company, employees, great selection of brand name mattresses, superior service and guaranteed lowest price — just under a new name.
What about the Foster Kids program?
The Sleep Train Foster Kids program will become the Mattress Firm Foster Kids program, which is already up and running across the country. The program will continue hosting annual donation drives to collect essential items for local nonprofit foster care partners. The annual Pajama Bowl event in Oregon and Washington will also continue — the next event is scheduled for April 2017. As a nationwide company, Mattress Firm will have the ability to collect essential items and funds at over 3,000 stores across the country.
I made a donation. What happens to that donation?
All online monetary donations and essential items collected in-store will be donated as planned to our nonprofit foster organization partners in each region we serve. You donation stays local, benefiting foster children in your community.
Will the Pajama Bowl still happen?
YES! The Pajama Bowl in Oregon and Washington will continue under the Mattress Firm name with the next event scheduled for April 2017. Click here to learn more!
