Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bed frame ever My husband and I purchased a set of twin xl frames, which we topped with mattresses suited to us each individually in terms of firmness. Best buy ever! We have it set up as a king in our room and share the top covers. He can adjust however he needs and not disturb my rest.

How high off the ground does the base sit?  Also, can this be used in a platform bed?

Asked by: Alan M
16" from the floor to the top of the platform. The bases stand on their own legs on the floor, so the slats of the bed are removed for the bases to stand inside. Someone creative and handy could probably modify a bed with a solid platform to accommodate.
