Additional Information

Print The Salem Daybed by Fashion Bed Group makes a fully-styled sofa by day that converts to spacious, comfortable bed when needed. The bed has a wood frame with curved arms and curved slats, making for an overall shape that is classic yet open. It has a colonial look, and the dark wood color will match nearly any decorator theme. The curved wood frame suggests old-world workmanship and craft. The style has practical effects as well; the outward bending arms offer space for sitting and positions for activities such as relaxing or reading a book.

As a bed, the outward bent frame provides the widest possible sleeping area. As furniture, the rich mahogany colored frame will work well with a wide variety of styles and colors to complement any decor. The classic styling and dark wood color will suit a formal or casual setting. The daybed can be the main seating area in a room or blend in with a group of furnishings.

Pictured mattress and bedding are not included.

is this come with a suspension deck or spring? thx!

Asked by: jojo
Hi JoJo, The Salem Daybed comes with a Polytop frame that is a sturdy fabric support system attached to a metal frame by springs. The Polytop works like a platform bed and is designed to hold a twin-size mattress. The Polytop lasts 10 times longer than regular link springs, and is more comfortable too. To double the daybed's sleeping surface you can also order the pop-up trundle bed. The pop-up mattress and support hide under your daybed when they're not in use. Simply slide the trundle out and "pop" it up to create a larger sleeping surface when needed. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our Sleep Specialists at (800) 378-2337 and press 2 or chat with us. Thank you!
