Is a box spring required with this frame? If so, would you recommend the regular or slim-profile box spring?

Asked by: rsullivan00
Hi, The need for a box spring or foundation depends on your mattress manufacturer's recommendations and warranty requirements. The height you select will be a personal choice for ease of getting in and out of bed, and looks, but most people prefer a low or ultra low (bunkie board) style foundation with today's thicker mattresses. Hope this helped! can a headboard be added to this frame ?

Asked by: linda
Hi Linda, This frame does not accommodate headboard attachment. That said, if you have a headboard that can be fastened to the wall or is safe to set up free standing without depending on the frame for support, it may work. If you have more questions, would like help placing your order or selecting a similar style of frame that includes a headboard, please chat with us or call us at 800-378-2337 and choose option 2 for sales!

Do you have to use a Bunkie board?

Asked by: Angela
Hi Angela, Depending on the mattress, you may be able to use the Simple Platform Bed without a foundation. Because most mattress manufacturers have differing requirements to maintain their warranties, we always recommended using either the matching foundation or a bunkie board if you prefer the low look. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our Sleep Specialists at (800)378-2337 and press 2 or chat with us. Thank you!
