San Diego's Premiere Outdoor Music Venue Renamed Sleep Train Amphitheatre

Sleep Train and Live Nation Entertainment announced a five-year marketing partnership that gives the employee-owned Sleep Train the naming rights to Live Nation’s Chula Vista venue. Formerly known as Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre, this popular San Diego area music venue will now be called Sleep Train Amphitheatre.

The Sleep Train Inc. has opened its first new store in the region since August. The Rocklin-based mattress chain of 276 stores opened a 5,005-square-foot store in Elk Grove on Thursday. The store at 7221 Elk Grove Blvd. is Sleep Train’s third store in Elk Grove.

Elementary school students mount clothing drive
Two fifth-grade students at Mt. George International School are hoping to collect 500 articles of clothing in February to benefit local foster children.
Halle Huckfeldt and Macie Bond, both 10 years old, are asking the public to donate new or gently used clothes, shoes, coats and pajamas for kids and teens. The girls will give all of the donations to Sleep Train’s Foster Kids program.
