Where can I purchase a replacement center support? My movers lost one.

Asked by: Barrett
Hi Barrett, Unfortunately we do not sell, or have access to replacement parts for this frame. The manufacturer is Leggett & Platt, and you can contact them directly to see if they sell parts individually. If you decide you would like to order a replacement frame, chat with us or give us a ring at 800-378-2337 and we will set you up.

How do you unlock and lock the wheels? Been trying to get wheels locked so my bed doesn't move but have not been able to figure it out. Nothing moves when I try moving the little levers on the wheels.

Asked by: Cristine
Hi Cristine, The latch on the standard frame wheels lock into place without much force. However, the type of flooring the frame is on will impact the movement of the frame. We recommend purchasing furniture cups to place under each wheel of the bed frame to reduce movement if your bed still moves after locking the wheels. If you have any additional questions regarding your bed frame, please feel free to contact our Sleep Specialists at (800)378-2337 and press 2. Thank you!

Ho munch weight will this frame hold?

Asked by: smith567
The amount of weight the standard frame will hold varies by size. Universally each frame size will support the weight of a standard profile foundation, mattress, and up to 2 average size adults. If you are concerned regarding the weight this frame will hold, we have two additional frames available online. The Inst-A-Matic bed frame and Universal Heavy Duty adjustable bed frame are both engineered to support heavier mattress sets. To determine the best bed frame for your sleeping needs, please feel free to contact our Sleep Specialists at (800)378-2337 and press 2 or chat with us. Thank you!

Will this frame support slats or a solid plywood platform on which we can put a mattress? Mother wants a bed low to the ground, so no box spring.

Asked by: Rosie
Hi Rosie, Due to the fact that mattress warranties vary by manufacturer, we recommend checking the specific requirements for foundation support set by the manufacturer of your mattress to keep the warranty intact. With that said, the standard frame is not intended to be used with slats or plywood. The purchase of a Bunkie Board or low profile foundation are good options to keep the height of your set lower to the ground. It is also okay to put just a mattress and box spring directly on the floor without a frame without voiding the warranty. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our Sleep Specialists at (800)378-2337 and press 2 or chat with us. Thank you!

How is high it? Does the frame has high as the 15 inch - 18 inch and twin size?

Asked by: Adasbedframe1
The Standard Frame is 7-1/2” off the floor. Taking into account approximately 1” of metal frame, there is 6” – 6-1/2” of clearance from the metal frame to the floor. The side rails are 70” long, making this frame adjustable in width for all sizes, including twin. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our Sleep Specialists at (800)378-2337 and press 2 or chat with us. Thank you!

what is the height of this   standard frame?

Asked by: tranluu
Hi Tran, the standard frame has 7 inches of clearance, from the floor to where the box spring sits. If you need more height, we carry risers that will give you an extra 3 inches, if you prefer a lower frame we also carry a low boy frame that sits about 4 inches high.

How do I lock the wheels? A video would be helpful, because the previous Q&A about locking and unlocking wheels wasn't helpful and neither was live chatting with a "specialist" who told me to go back to the store to seek help.
